Charles’s background is as diverse as they come. From high-rise window cleaner, to law enforcement officer, to oil-field worker, to driving instructor, to polar bear observer, to general contractor — Charles has worn a lot of interesting hats.
Both of his grandfathers were carpenters, so it seemed only natural that Charles would follow in their footsteps. He enjoys working construction for the satisfaction of seeing the results of his handiwork at the end of each day. There’s always a new task to learn, another tool to master. He also enjoys teaching others, passing along knowledge he’s picked up in his life and work.
Since growing up in Seattle, Charles has spent a lot of time in Alaska. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and almost any kind of project that involves working with his hands.
