Responsibilities: 

  • As-Built measuring of design projects independently.
  • Take pictures of all projects at as built for future reference.
  • Draft and design all sizes of remodel projects from As-Built measure through Construction Documents including permit documents and applications.
  • Working directly with Clients to design, detail, and make all material selections for their remodel projects.
  • Thoroughly record redlines and notes from design meetings.
  • Manage selections list
  • Responsible for supporting with project estimating. Strong handoff to estimating at Drop Dead Date. Comfortable talking to sub-contractors, reading, downloading, and coordinating quotes. Work with the Gaspar’s Production Manager, Estimator, Sub Contractors and Material Vendors to build the estimates. Run Subwalk Meeting with Estimator and Gaspar’s Team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects to completion and independently managing work load and deadlines.
  • Actively drive schedule for design projects by strategic and proactive measures.
  • Independently manage selections list.
  • Can run client/design meetings independently.
  • Review and respond to BuilderTrend daily logs for projects in Construction.
  • Layout meetings on site for all Construction Projects.
  • Understanding construction schedule.
  • Support field crew by answering design questions during construction.
  • Problem solve solutions in the moment.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create designs within the clients target budget as well as communicating and working directly with home owners.
  • Support construction crew in answering design questions. 
  • Actively use Sandler Sales techniques

Qualifications :

  • 8-10 years professional experience OR 4-10 years with a design degree (BA Interior Deisgn, BA Architecture, BS Architecture, or equivalent proficiency in AutoCAD).  
  • Must maintain a Washington Sate Driver's License in good standing 
  • Physical Demands: Work is mostly performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from a computer, phone or tablet. May be subject to repetitive motion tasks. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 10 pounds.

Project Lead

Job Description: 

This role is responsible for the daily job-site production of all construction as drawn. The Project Lead  supervises Gaspar’s personnel & Sub–Contractors for all projects as assigned, and is responsible for the completion of carpentry and other tasks as necessary to complete the project.  They are responsible for facilitating and adhering to the production schedule and ensuring all work is completed on time and with exceptional quality. 

The Project Lead is responsible for ensuring that jobsites are maintained in a safe and orderly condition and that all Gaspar’s and industry recognized safety guidelines are followed by Gaspar’s personnel, all Subcontractors, and other workers.  This person will maintain field records (jobsite binder and lead packet) for all assigned projects, including receipts for materials and equipment delivered to the jobsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure assigned jobs are completed on schedule and personnel and Subcontractors are producing according to what was estimated.
  • Identify and report any changes in scope, schedule, and conditions weekly to the Production Manager
  • Weekly safety job inspections and safety meetings logged in Safety Log Book, and all other jobsite safety requirements.
  • Client satisfaction and company reputation enhancement in the community.
  • Address and resolve challenges regarding the Jobsite, Subcontractor, or Client within 24 hours
  • Oversee and assist with all phases of Demolition, Rough & Finish Carpentry performed by Gaspar’s crew.  
  • Complete all phases of construction better than “industry standard” and insist on a high 100% completion and owner satisfaction on the “Completion List” leaving zero items to be finished by others.
  • Lead site safety protocol per company Safety Plan, including weekly site inspections and site meetings. Stay current with First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Consistent level of quality from everyone working on the project.
  • Complete understanding of plans, specifications, and estimate.
  • Schedule & supervise work performed by subcontractors    
  • Maintain personal time records and job reports.
  • Create material lists, manpower & equipment requests, and schedule revisions for Production Manager.      .
  • Manageme labor based on Estimate.
  • Minimal warranty issues. 
  • Follow Tool checkout procedures.    
  • Schedule necessary inspections.
  • Attend all client site meetings.
  • Manager: Jobsite day to day operations.
  • Maintain a very clean and organized jobsite and including jobsite office area.
  • Maintain “Green” building practices as outlined in the job’s estimate and company policy.

Qualifications:                                                 

  • 2-5 years of hands-on residential construction with advanced carpentry skills, tool set, and appropriate vehicle.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in Framing, Windows, Doors, Siding, Cabinet Installation, and Finish carpentry.
  • Basic understanding of all subcontractor phases related to residential remodeling.
  • 1 year of proven supervisory tasks or jobs completed successfully as a Superintendent, Lead or their assistant, including meeting with inspectors and homeowners.  
  • Proven record of safely working in and around other trades with the ability to lead, promote and enforce safety on a jobsite.
  • Proven effort of jobsite waste reduction, Green building methods or ideas, and desire to promote and maintain jobsite recycling and Green building practices. 
  • Maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License in good standing
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and innovative writing ability, including proofreading and editing for grammar and punctuation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented. 
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment

Relationship Manager

Job Description: 

The Relationship Manager is responsible for selling remodeling projects and delivering work to achieve a full production pipeline, ensuring the company meets or exceeds profit goals. This role is the main point of contact for the client throughout the sales, design and construction phases. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Create & work a prospecting plan that the Sales Manager approves to help fulfill the sales goal.
  • Attend a Networking event once a week.
  • Attend weekly Sandler Sales Training, embrace, and follow the Sandler System.
  • Retain abreast of updated construction practices by visiting suppliers, attending trade shows, educational seminars, obtaining manufacturers brochures and networking with other contractors.
  • Attend design & construction meetings as agreed upon
  • Assist in estimating:
  • Identify increase & decrease options prior to sub-walk.
  • Manage Homeowner during sub-walk.
  • Assist in identifying change orders during construction for scope that was not included in the original estimate. 
  • Must maintain a Washington State Driver’s license in good standing.

 
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • 5+ years experience in customer service
  • 5+ years of strong selling experience (team selling is desired).
  • Sales and Design Aptitude.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Team player with above average communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and be attentive to details on many jobs happening simultaneously.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Zoom, and Hubspot 

Physical Demands: Work is performed in an office environment and at the client’s home. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from a computer, phone or tablet.
