Responsibilities include:

  1. Perform all phases of carpentry work on high-end residential remodels
  2. Direct & manage all sub-contractors & vendors on the job.
  3. Run weekly client meetings
  4. Manage the overall job schedule and budget for the job
  5. Responsible for job site safety
  6. Help mentor & train junior staff

Ideal candidate’s qualifications include:

  1. 5+ recent years of hands on carpentry experience in residential remodeling
  2. Ability to read blueprints

You would be performing rough & finish carpentry, drywall, painting, rot/leak detection & repair, light electrical, light plumbing, window & door installation, light tiling to name but a few, as well as supervising subcontractors and providing excellent communication and understanding with customers.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Perform a broad range of light remodeling tasks, confidently, without supervision, while maintaining Gaspar’s quality and customer service standards.
  2. Run multiple jobs at one time.
  3. Demonstrate craftsman carpentry skills in high end homes.
  4. Develop creative solutions when confronted by unique problems.

Ideal candidate’s qualifications include:

  1. A strong and thorough understanding of the industry and home systems.
  2. MUST have at least 5 years’ experience in residential remodeling and 10 years in the trades.
  3. Ability to instruct others.
  4. An ability to work independently and make decisions.
  5. A valid license and a clean driving record.
  6. Must have the necessary power and hand tools to perform basic home maintenance.
  7. Able to pass drug and background check.
  8. Basic administrative, computer and arithmetic skills to accurately prepare invoices and track paperwork.
  9. Strength, balance, and agility sufficient to work at gutter-level heights, dig postholes, and move around in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
  10. A lively, fun, outgoing demeanor with salesmanship skills
  11. Must live within 15 miles of Seattle

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

  1. Remodel designFrom as-built measure and conceptual design to permits and construction documents. You will be working with clients, trade contractors and our in house carpenters to design and build a wide range of residential remodels.
  2. Permitting  You will be responsible with navigating projects through the permit process both over the counter and full submittal.
  3. Construction support – You will be involved in your projects throughout the construction process—seeing the details through to the end.

Ideal candidate’s qualifications include:

  1. Design degree (Architectural or Interior–with a construction/residential focus) and 4+ years’ experience designing kitchens, baths, and other residential projects required. An understanding of construction and general residential structure is a must.
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
  3. Experience with SketchUp a plus.
  4. Permit experience preferred.
  5. Have the ability to work independently and to hold yourself accountable for results and performance. Must have enthusiasm and willingness to grow with the company.

Description – This position is at the heart of the handyman department. First point of contact for all handyman clients and the majority of all handyman clients will be booked by you. Successful candidates will be good listeners, who can ask questions that help clients realize that they need our services.
