Requirements

Responsibilities include:

  1. Perform all phases of carpentry work on high-end residential remodels
  2. Direct & manage all sub-contractors & vendors on the job.
  3. Run weekly client meetings
  4. Manage the overall job schedule and budget for the job
  5. Responsible for job site safety
  6. Help mentor & train junior staff

Ideal candidate’s qualifications include:

  1. 5+ recent years of hands on carpentry experience in residential remodeling
  2. Ability to read blueprints
  3. Excellent people & communication skills
  4. Team player attitude
  5. Ability to multi-task
  6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel & Project
  7. Knowledge of the proper sequence of work in remodeling project
  8. Basic knowledge of all trades working on jobsites, i.e. drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring, roofing, etc,

Are you enthusiastic about construction? Do you have experience estimating small projects? If you are a seasoned carpenter and like variety, this might be the job for you!

You would be performing rough & finish carpentry, drywall, painting, rot/leak detection & repair, light electrical, light plumbing, window & door installation, light tiling to name but a few, as well as supervising subcontractors and providing excellent communication and understanding with customers.

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

  1. Perform a broad range of light remodeling tasks, confidently, without supervision, while maintaining Gaspar’s quality and customer service standards.
  2. Run multiple jobs at one time.
  3. Demonstrate craftsman carpentry skills in high end homes.
  4. Develop creative solutions when confronted by unique problems.

Ideal candidate’s qualifications include:

  1. A strong and thorough understanding of the industry and home systems.
  2. MUST have at least 5 years’ experience in residential remodeling and 10 years in the trades.
  3. Ability to instruct others.
  4. An ability to work independently and make decisions.
  5. A valid license and a clean driving record.
  6. Must have the necessary power and hand tools to perform basic home maintenance.
  7. Able to pass drug and background check.
  8. Basic administrative, computer and arithmetic skills to accurately prepare invoices and track paperwork.
  9. Strength, balance, and agility sufficient to work at gutter-level heights, dig postholes, and move around in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
  10. A lively, fun, outgoing demeanor with salesmanship skills
  11. Must live within 15 miles of Seattle

Position Information

Gaspar’s Construction is seeking a multi-talented individual for our Accounts Payable department. This position is an important role in the day-to-day operations of a busy residential construction company and will report to the Finance & Operations Manager. A successful candidate will have a cheerful disposition, detail oriented, strong organizational skills and able to multi-task.

Requirements

Responsibilities include: 

  1. Accurately enter job costs and overhead expenses
  2. Set up new subcontractors
  3. Collect lien release from subs and ensure all COIs are up to date

Ideal candidate’s qualifications include:

  1. 5 years of hands-on experience in Accounting
  2. Operate 10-key by touch
  3. Attention to detail and follow-though is a must
  4. Ability to work independently as well as a team
  5. Knowledge of Excel and Word to include creating formulas, etc.
  6. Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines by prioritizing work load
  7. Understanding of construction job costing is favorable
  8. Experience with Sage MasterBuilder is a plus
  9. Understanding of residential remodeling industry would be helpful
