These homeowners came from bad contractor experiences in the past, and wanted a partner they could trust. They wanted a classic kitchen that went with the home's charm, while accomodating modern touches and amenities. One goal of this remodel was to help these homeowners to maximize their time together, with one avid cook and one who is more of a spectator.

This breakfast nook offered the perfect place for them to enjoy eachother's company, while not being overcrowded. The freshly functional kitchen has reinvigorated her love for cooking. The custom-built center island offers generous workspace as well as tidy storage for a microwave on one side, and utensils and other small items on the other. 

Hidden next to the nook is a custom cabinet, complete with a cutout for their beloved cat to enjoy meals, while hiding the mess. Beautiful centerpieces in their respective spaces, the light fixtures bring a historic element while retaining a crisp feel.
