Magnolia Kitchen
Our homeowners wanted to open up the kitchen to create a connection to the rest of house. We accomplished this by recessing the dividing wall into the ceiling and creating a continuous flow of the ceiling. The kitchen was brought up to date by replacing the dated tile countertops with white quartz and bringing in sleek and modern cabinetry. Three new windows capture the view and transform this once dreary and dark kitchen into a space filled with natural light. The husband, a mixologist, collects unique liquors from around the world and always wanted a special place to highlight his collection. We created a cabinet specifically designed for his needs that can either be discretely closed or opened to reveal a colorful display of intricate bottles framed by warm walnut woodwork.
